Sentences are counted by splitting on sentence-ending punctuation: full stops, exclamation marks, and question marks. Abbreviations and decimal numbers may slightly affect the count.
Paragraphs are counted as blocks of text separated by one or more blank lines. A single block of text with no blank lines counts as one paragraph.
